I’m not sure I’d be willing to pass up a 360 for one of these.

Fuuuuuuuuck. It’s exactly what I want, but it’s just too expensive.

Badly want, but there are a few red flags for me on this particular ad. The first photo appears to be a photo of an image on a screen, and is a different car from the second photo (check out the disappearing Martini logo on the lower rear quarter). Also the body of text is mostly about the 1993 Evo II, full of glaring typos, and says absolutely nothing about this particlar car and its condition or the sale. And, of course, there’s the fact that a ‘91 shouldn’t be stateside for another year.

not too mention it was for sale on piston heads over 4 years ago as a clone made from a 88 hf. I was living in the UK at the time. it is even using some of the same photos off the piston heads site. your “photos of a picture on a screen” No roll cage, stock interior? not a true rally car or add.kicker.... was for sale over there for 18,000 pounds.....

The lack of a cage isn’t a concern, I didn’t take it as them trying to suggest it was an actual rally car, I thought they were trying to pass it off as one of the 400 special “Martini edition” road cars Lancia produced. That said, after just giving myself a quick refresher, even that claim is torn apart. All the Martini edition Lancias were 1992 models, not 1991 (they were produced to celebrate Lancia’s fifth straight WRC manufacturer’s title), and they have different stripes from the car(s) in the craigslist photos.
